Adult VBS 2017

We are trying something new this year! As many of you know, this year marks the 500th Anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation when Dr. Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenburg Church inviting discussion and debate. This singular event sparked the movement that has become know the world over as the “Reformation”.

In conjunction with the 500th Anniversary of the birth of the reformation, Lutheran Hour Ministries has released three separate Video series entitled; “A Man Named Martin” Part 1: The Man, Part 2: The Moment, Part 3: The Movement.

A Man Named Martin, Part 2: The Moment will then be shown for adults and teenagers during Vacation Bible School at Zion Lutheran Church from Sunday, July 9 through Tuesday, July 11 at 7:00 pm in the conference room. This is a three part video series with discussions to follow.

After seeing Part 1: “The Man” and Part 2: “The Moment”, you will undoubtedly want to see Part 3: “The Movement”. The Reformation changed more than how people look at Christ’s holy church. It actually changed the world. The reformation impacted our society and all of western civilization. Part 3 will be shown at Shepherd of the Valley in September.

Please plan to attend! All of the Bismarck and Mandan congregations are encouraged to participate as we corporately give God thanks for what He was able to accomplish through “A Man Named Martin”. To God alone be the glory! Hope to see you there!

If you are planning to attend, please contact Pastor Zellers at 701-712-1981 so that we can plan for space and the printing of materials.    Thanks in advance!
